Survey Finds Greeks Are More Empathetic Toward Refugees Than Other Europeans

A new report published recently shows that the Greek people are more empathetic toward refugees compared to other Europeans.

The report, titled ”Attitudes Towards National Identity, Immigration and Refugees in Greece” was conducted by ”More in Common,” an international non-governmental organization, which surveyed approximately 2,000 people.

Seventy-seven percent of the people who participated believe that refugees and migrants who came to Greece ”are willing to work harder and for lower pay than Greeks,” with the majority (56 per cent) believing that these refugees and migrants make efforts to integrate into Greek society. Read more>>>
